I specialize in creating figurative oil paintings.  Though I can also do
artwork in other genres/styles such as still lifes, commissioned
portraiture, landscapes, collage and abstraction.  The following are

The following series of paintings were made as a homage to specific
musicians in afrocuban music's evolution.  Some works were taken
from old vintage Black and white photos, while others were taken
from my own photos of direct encounters with the musicians as they
played live. It is my hope that these artworks will become visual
testimonies of the importance of the many latino musicians
performing in this genre of music.
